Cancer Survivor – Paulo Pascoal

I met a wonerful person and model from NYC named Paulo Pascoal. Paulo left a funny tag in 2008 on my ModelMayhem profile saying, “You need more color”. I deleted the tag thinking it was an unwelcomed critique of my color preference at the time. He clarified via a private message that I should shoot him when he visits Los Angeles.

“Oh”. That’s what he meant. My bad! Anyway, Paulo did visit LA, but due to our schedules, he could not meet me and went back to NYC and we kept in touch through sparse communications on MM.

During the week of Easter 2009, I received a mobile call from Paulo telling he was in LA and that we should do a quickie test. I agreed. He warned me that he had lost a lot of weight due to cancer treatment and I was shocked and surprised!

This is Paulo now. I think he still looks sexy despite the tremendous weight loss. I wish my friend Paulo the very best on his road towards recovery.
