Today the 22nd December, 2009, I found out my January 2010 DNA came out in Australia and New Zealand. The rest of the magazine will makes its way to major European states and finally to Canada and USA.

Borders, Barnes and Nobles, and mainstream newsstands will carry DNA Magazine.

This was special because not only I single handedly chose my muse to be the cover, but I influenced my editor to place Nathan as the first “color” COVER model of the magazine.

Change is good!

Here is an image that was not selected by my editor when I was asked to shoot the cover of DNA March 2009 (Australia + Abroad). I REALLY love this photograph and worked (edited) for myself. If you look at my TIFF layers, pretty self-explanatory. I just used the plain lasso tool (L) in Photoshop to make my selections.

On other notes, my cover and 10-pages of spread in Australia’s DNA Magazine is out today 25th February 2009. Issue #110 features model Adam C. Phebus @ Vision Model Management LA (Vision LA). Francisco Pinto did the hair and makeup. This was my 5th magazine cover and 14th publication to date since I started summer 2006.
