Today the 22nd December, 2009, I found out my January 2010 DNA came out in Australia and New Zealand. The rest of the magazine will makes its way to major European states and finally to Canada and USA.

Borders, Barnes and Nobles, and mainstream newsstands will carry DNA Magazine.

This was special because not only I single handedly chose my muse to be the cover, but I influenced my editor to place Nathan as the first “color” COVER model of the magazine.

Change is good!

On Thursday, my buddy Nate stopped by for the cover reshoot. He got hungry so I had to whipped up some food. I served him my 2 glasses yogurt lassi, 6 eggs scrambled w/ 4 yolks, 4 turkey sausages, and 4 slices of honey whole wheat bread! I am a nice host. I like serving people. =)

I also took this portrait of my muse.

I logged into my Facebook and read a status update from Nathan. He wrote that he was being Emmy nominated for his hosting side for LXTV. I had no idea of his involvement. I got curious and google searched and found these clips: http://lxtv.com/search/?search=nate%20owens&pg=1. I had no idea of Nathan’s other dimensions–a new found appreciation and respect towards my buddy and muse.

My cover will be out in either August or September 2009. Canada/USA can purchase my cover in Barnes and Nobles and Borders and at major mainstream magazine stands.

On other notes, my cover and 10-pages of spread in Australia’s DNA Magazine is out today 25th February 2009. Issue #110 features model Adam C. Phebus @ Vision Model Management LA (Vision LA). Francisco Pinto did the hair and makeup. This was my 5th magazine cover and 14th publication to date since I started summer 2006.
