Today the 22nd December, 2009, I found out my January 2010 DNA came out in Australia and New Zealand. The rest of the magazine will makes its way to major European states and finally to Canada and USA.

Borders, Barnes and Nobles, and mainstream newsstands will carry DNA Magazine.

This was special because not only I single handedly chose my muse to be the cover, but I influenced my editor to place Nathan as the first “color” COVER model of the magazine.

Change is good!

I dreamt that one day in the near future, I’ll get to shoot campaigns like this. Until then, one step at a time.

Here is Ashkan, my second Persian male model. Persian male models are very rare in LA! In addition to bodies, I absolutely love faces and portraits!

From my previous post, “At Work….” now you know where the following was taken.

At the time, Kyler was with VUE Models and his agent Jaime Love sent Kyler over. I was inspired by the photographs of Emporio Armani and how they shoot their “BW” images. Here is my take on it.

On Thursday, my buddy Nate stopped by for the cover reshoot. He got hungry so I had to whipped up some food. I served him my 2 glasses yogurt lassi, 6 eggs scrambled w/ 4 yolks, 4 turkey sausages, and 4 slices of honey whole wheat bread! I am a nice host. I like serving people. =)

I also took this portrait of my muse.

Check out Nathan on the July 2009 cover of France’s TETU Magazine. I did **not** shoot the cover.

My cover will be out in either August or September 2009. Canada/USA can purchase my cover in Barnes and Nobles and Borders and at major mainstream magazine stands.
